Job Summary
The POS Terminal Deployment Engineer is responsible for deploying, configuring, testing, and supporting Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals at merchant locations. The role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient payment processing through proper installation, network configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing technical support.

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and activate POS terminals at merchant locations.
- Configure merchant profiles, payment applications, and terminal parameters.
- Perform firmware upgrades, software installation, and terminal setup.

- Configure Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other communication methods.
- Maintain deployment records and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to merchants.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful terminal deployment.
- Verify secure communication with payment gateways and host systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
Required Skills
- Experience with POS terminal installation and configuration.
- Knowledge of payment gateway integration and EMV standards.
- Experience with terminal activation and key injection processes.
- Strong networking knowledge, including routers, modems, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi.
- Experience with Android or embedded devices.
- Knowledge of firmware upgrades and software deployment.
- Familiarity with remote support and asset management tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
- Basic SQL knowledge is an advantage

Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in POS deployment, payment systems, or technical support.
- Age: 25–36 years.
